Graphic Design Intern (NYC)

Of Course Global is looking for a Creative Intern starting asap. We are a learning and innovation consultancy for purpose-driven companies. We work with clients who have a point of view on the change they want to see in the world and we dig into human problems to find innovative solutions.

This internship is ideal for curious minds pursuing a communication design degree with a passion to make positive change in the world. You will be working under the supervision of our Creative Lead and are expected to be autonomous, organized and flexible as part of the work will be remote.


Internship Description:

Your role will be made of two parts:
Visual Design: Create branding material, illustrations, visual content designs for social medias, pitch decks, layouts and fun animations.
Social Media Community Manager: Research and determine platforms to focus on, build out content per platform, plan posting calendar and implement a system (either manually or through hootsuite), strategically liking, posting, commenting and following potential clients and partners

Education:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communication Design with a minimum of two years completed.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Organized self-starter, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.

  • Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Premiere Pro

  • Some knowledge of animation on After Effects would be great

  • Comfortable with Google Drive and using Google Slides

  • Strong conceptual thinking capabilities

  • Autonomous: someone who like solving-problems and looking for solutions online

  • Interacts with the team to give manageable eta and communicate when you might be facing a problem

  • Already familiar with Asana and Invision or open to learn how to organize their work on these platforms

  • Excellent verbal and writing skills

  • Self-motivated, self-starter

  • Fast learner
